Our Story —————————

For over 10 years, Rich Pond Baptist Church had been seeking to reach the Jennings Creek community for the glory of Christ. From backyard Bible clubs to cookouts, they were faithful to make an impact consistently over the years. However, they realized the difficulty of long term ministry when they were at such a physical distance. After Derek Logsdon expressed interest in planting a church in the neighborhood, the elders began praying whether a team should be sent to begin a new church in the Jennings Creek Community. After being affirmed by Rich Pond Baptist Church, area partnering churches, and the Kentucky Baptist Convention, a team of 22 adults was formed and began to meet bi-weekly. A weekly Bible study was also hosted in the neighborhood on Wednesday nights. Lord willing, the church will covenant together in early September and meet corporately at Jennings Creek Elementary School.
