Our Mission

  • Glorify God

Glorifying God is why we exist as believers and as a church. Everything we do is centered on the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus Christ is a good King who actively reigns over our world. Thus, our joyful devotion to His supremacy in our lives satisfies the end for which we were made. We treasure the gospel and love the gospel.

  • Make Disciples

Simply put, the church is a group of disciples making disciples. We toil and strive to present everyone mature in Christ. We do this by knowing one another, serving one another, love one another, and encourage one another. Simply, we were saved by grace to be a meaningful member of a local church.

  • In the Jennings Creek Community and Beyond

Our church is located in the Jennings Creek area of our city. We exist to be a people from all walks of life no matter our ethnicity, background, social class, or age. We seek to fulfill the Great Commission within the context of our neighborhood and to the ends of the Earth.

Our Distinctives

  • Multicultural

Our neighborhood is an area with much diversity. We believe the church is a global community of every race, tribe, economic level, and tongue. For this reason, we are intentionally multicultural and seek to put diversity on display where and when possible for the glory of God.

  • Local

We desire to be a local expression of Christ. We encourage members to embrace the mission of making disciples where they live, but if and when possible, to live near one another in the neighborhood. We want to reach the Jennings Creek neighborhoods for Christ and that best happens when we live near and among our neighbors.

  • Indigenous

While our area is made up both of locals and transplants, we seek to be a church that raises up indigenous leaders from the context of the neighborhood that will be here for many years down the road.

  • Relational

We want our church to grow primarily through relationships. We cultivate relationships with one another and seek to cultivate relationships with the lost around us for the glory of God.
